I often get asked why I enjoy wedding photography so much. There are so many reasons, not least is the way that for just one day I am invited into the heart of a family. I get to meet amazing people and bear witness to the purest love. We make friends and get to hear the most amazing stories. Weddings are truly beautiful occasions. And yes, I will probably cry at yours too.
It’s your special day and I am privileged to be part of it. So, it is important to me that my small part of your very special occasion doesn’t interfere with you relishing every moment of it. Most of the time you won’t even know I’m there, mingling with guests and putting them at ease, taking those candid shots of your friends and family laughing, smiling and playing and crying. But, I am also there to offer help and guidance if and when it’s needed by organising guests, offering friendly encouragement and direction but never overstepping my place. The photography should be fun, and stress-free. So let’s take that off your things to worry about.
I hope that my creative documentary style will ensure that the images you look back on in years to come will remind you of the true events of the day and the deep love you have for each other.
I very much look forward to documenting your special day.
