Hayley & Tom’s Stratford-upon-Avon Wedding

Hayley and Tom tied the knot in the beautiful and historic medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon. You may have heard of it? Something to do with some guy called Shakespeare. Heard of him?

This was another wonderfully intimate, family-only affair, with the ceremony taking place at the historic Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall on Henley Street. The building itself is a beautiful converted Tudor structure and a rather lovely setting for a small wedding ceremony.

And with Stratford-upon-Avon as our backdrop, we certainly weren’t short of places to make some photographs. We wandered from the Town Hall towards the Arden Hotel on the banks of the River Avon, stopping whenever we spotted somewhere that worked.

I love photographing couples who have that natural chemistry and a good sense of humour. When people are comfortable together, it shows. Nothing feels forced, and the photographs have a lovely energy to them.

For me, that’s what intimate wedding photography is all about — keeping things relaxed, giving couples the space to enjoy their day and making photographs that feel like them.
