08 Jan Alana & Ben – Northampton Guildhall

This Saturday I had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Alana and Ben. This beautiful couple booked me for just an hour at the majestic Northampton Guildhall. It was a small gathering of their closest friends and family and was made even more special for it. Not a dry eye in the house, not even the groom. 

Initially Alana and Ben asked me to photograph the post wedding Confetti moment, family groups and a couple of photos on their own. But, I arrived early, as ever, and was invited in to join them in the ceremony. The sun was shining low through the windows right in to the eyes of the guests. So, we had to drew the curtains and got creative with some gentle flash lighting and we captured this lovely golden glow. 

This is why I offer an hourly rate. So I can offer those people who might be on a budget the opportunity to capture their special day and treasure the memories for years to come.
